Our Mission

Support exclusive breastfeeding for first 6 months
We support the World Health Organization’s recommendation of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life, followed by the introduction of safe and adequate nutritious complementary foods along with sustained breastfeeding up to two years of age or beyond.

Full compliance with WHO/Local Codes
We aim for all industry players whether local or global to fully comply with the provisions of WHO/Local regulations on marketing of breast milk substitutes.

Quality of infant nutrition products
We aim to provide nutritious and high-quality infant nutrition products while meeting all applicable regulatory requirements.

Collaboration with stakeholders
We look for collaboration with government, civil society organizations and other relevant stakeholders to improve maternal and child nutrition in the country.



Our Objectives
- Compliance with WHO/Local Codes on marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes.
- Provide safe and quality infant nutrition products while meeting all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Discuss issues related to infant and child nutrition, children formula and related matters with government, civil society organizations and relevant stakeholders in the private sector.
- Engage in constructive dialogue with government, policy makers on public policy advocacy related to infant/baby food.
